PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION SERVICES
Comprehensive Evaluation
A psychological evaluation that goes beyond the minimum recommendations made by professional guidelines in terms of testing and other components.
This evaluation (1) utilizes multiple psychological tests to measure both mental illness and normal personality traits, (2) assesses the professional criteria of the Gestational Carrier (GC) to proceed with collaborative pregnancy and (3) rates the fit between the GC and the individualized needs of the Intended Parents (IPs) with regards to factors which might compromise a successful collaborative pregnancy arrangement.
Psychological Screening
A evaluation providing psychoeducation while assessing for (1) the presence/absence of mental illness and (2) the professional criteria of the Gestational Carrier (GC) to proceed with collaborative pregnancy.
Psychological evaluation services can be limited to the Gestational Carrier alone or include their partner and/or others involved in the collaborative parenting arrangement, including the Intended Parents. Professional guidelines and best practices include evaluation/consultation services for GC-IP individually and jointly.
REPRODUCTIVE RELATIONSHIP CONSULTATION SERVICES
Reproductive Relationship Coaching
​Direct and active professional support to mitigate the stressors inherrent in gestational surrogacy. Unlike mental health treatment or therapy, coaching focuses on (1) practical, solution-focused decision-making during the process and (2) education around the psychosocial challenges of the collaborative reproductive relationship itself.
Whether working with an agency or on an independent journey, coaching sessions can be used to increase confidence, competence and well-being at any point along the process.
Pre-Match Consultation
A considerable amount of time, money, and emotional stress is expended before matching with a Gestational Carrier (GC) and getting clearance from the clinic to proceed. The journey can be long, with no step more important than the right match.

Pre-Match Consultation provides a psychologically-minded analysis of available information for IPs when considering GC candidates.
